President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will address the nation at 9 p.m. tonight, ahead of the Christmas celebrations.
This was disclosed by the President’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement issued on Monday.
According to Onanuga, the address will mark the first official presidential media chat since Tinubu assumed office.
“The first presidential media chat with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be broadcast at 9 p.m. on Monday, December 23, on the Nigerian Television Authority and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria. All television and radio stations are requested to connect to the broadcast,” the statement read.
The announcement coincides with the federal government’s declaration of three public holidays to commemorate the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
