Cristiano Ronaldo Demands Squad Reinforcements Before Renewing Al-Nassr Contract

Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly called on the club to strengthen its squad as a condition for agreeing to a contract extension, according to Fichajes.

Ronaldo’s current deal with the Saudi Pro League side is set to expire at the end of the season, and the Portuguese forward, 39, has yet to commit to a renewal.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is reportedly open to extending his stay with Al-Nassr, provided the club bolsters its squad to better compete with rivals like Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.

Ronaldo is said to have personally recommended the signing of Brazilian midfielder Casemiro from Manchester United. The 31-year-old midfielder’s contract with the Premier League club runs until 2026, but he has struggled for regular game time under United’s new manager, Ruben Amorim.

Casemiro has featured in just six matches this season, scoring three goals across 22 appearances in all competitions. His reduced role at Manchester United could make him a potential target for Al-Nassr if the club is willing to invest in squad improvements.

As Ronaldo continues to dominate headlines both on and off the pitch, Al-Nassr faces increasing pressure to meet his demands and remain competitive in the growing Saudi Pro League.

No official statements have been made by Al-Nassr or Ronaldo regarding the reported contract negotiations.
